Performs human resources related duties at the professional level including heavy employee relations and some administration. Responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, labor relations, affirmative action and employment equity programs.
Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data, making recommendations to the management team for corrective and continuous improvement.
Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.
Represents the company for unemployment claims.
Facilitates and/or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce.
Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry level, professional, management, and technical job openings.
Coordinate all employment procedures and conduct new hire orientation.
Work with leadership in coaching and developing the management team.
Contribute to team effectiveness by assisting in other areas as needed.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Experience
Two to five years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a manufacturing environment
Competencies
Manufacturing plant based employee relations experience.
Ability to objectively coach employees and management through issues that may be complex, difficult and emotional.
Ability to research and analyze various different types of data.
Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong facilitation skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
